A family of friends in grade 2 Fall Gala This is a collection of photos from our Fall Gala. Grade 2 worked very hard to set up their stations and learn about earning money, saving money and spending money. We will be donating half of our earnings and then enjoying the rest of our savings sometime soon. Safety Build Mr. Noah came to our classroom to encourage us to think about safety. It was fun to use lego and build places from our playground. It helped us to think and discuss how to be safe at school. Halloween Fun!
We set a behaviour goal to accomplish before Halloween. We focussed on working as group. To celebrate our learning we decided to make doughnuts. To make it more fun we had to eat them off a string outside! Working on writing
Everyone is so focussed! Working on writing outside
Still focussed! Learning to bead Perseverance was our school wide character goal for the month. I think everyone did a great job and was pleasantly surprised with how well their project turned out. Christmas is here! Who are the cutest elves you know?
Soft start mornings Environmental Education

TEAM WORK! -quinzee building -snow mazes -sculptures -a mini city Snowy fun! Learning to make stop motion videos with artist Christine Prescott We linked our science outcome with stop motion theatre. The kids had a great time with Christine as she guided them through the process and talked with them about metamorphosis. Yay! Pyjama Day! This was our second to last day of school. We didn't realize we wouldn't be coming back! We had a lot of fun making pancakes and watching a movie for a celebration for reaching another goal in our classroom. Way to go grade 2! |
